If you're anything like me, when you look at the Network Marketing Pros you think...
Why am I not generating 50 leads a day like Ray?
How come I’m not signing up 3 people a week into my business like Lisa?
What’s wrong with me?
Do you know why you’re not getting those results?
Because you’re not Ray and you’re not Lisa.
You have your own experience level, knowledge, and beliefs about your ability.
Comparing yourself and your business to network marketing pros is certainly not fair to you, but you should be comparing yourself to someone. That someone is you, who you were yesterday.
Your business is probably not where you hoped it would be. That’s okay. It will get there as long as you are consistent in doing the things that produce results: providing value daily, constantly stretching yourself, and always learning.
If you need help learning the steps that will produce the results you want, check this out.
Unfortunately, I am going to have to use a word that none of us want to see…. ready?
Patience. Yes, it’s going to take patience. We might live in an instant society, but it will still take patience to build a business.
That’s why it’s called “building” a business. There is no such thing as a profitable, sustainable, and free business right out of the gate.
Building anything takes time, right? Building a business is like building a skyscraper. The new One World Trade Center in Manhattan took 3 years to build the foundation and base alone. I’m not saying it’s going to take you 3 years. In fact, it should be much less than that. I am saying that it’s not going to happen overnight.

Little Building Blocks to Success
Since we will never be like Ray or Lisa or the other network marketing pros from day one, we need to take a look at the little successes and celebrate them.
Have you generated your first lead?
Have you made your first sale?
Have you just brought on your first team member?
Are you generating one lead a day?
We all need to start somewhere, the first lead, the first sale, the first prospect. Little by little our consistent daily actions will start generating one lead a day, then two leads a day, then three leads a day.
Do you realize that those little successes are more than what 90% of network marketers will ever see?
Because they will not read this blog post or listen to the network marketing pros that say the same thing.
They will continue to compare themselves to others, feel defeated, and quit.
Be like the 10% who will start celebrating those little successes which are the building blocks to the successful business.
Top 3 Habits of Successful Network Marketing Pros
Every successful network marketer habitually does 3 things every single day. If you want to grow a successful business, you will need to adopt these habits too.
#1 – Mindset Training First Thing in the Morning
Things are going to happen throughout your day, good things and not-so-good things. If you don’t start your day off with some kind of mindset activity, you’re going to let the not-so-good things either stop your actions or at the very least slow you down.
“You know what? I’m not going to prospect today. I did some prospecting yesterday and I didn’t recruit anybody.”
Achieving slow results can deflate anybody, especially a new business owner.
If you are the first person in your family to venture out into the business world, you are probably hearing some negative talk from those around you who just don’t understand.
Society says grow up, go to college, get a career, work that career for 40 years, retire, and die. Nowhere in there does it say “go out and start a business”.
If the economy and the job market do not improve soon, there are going to be many more joining the entrepreneurial journey. It will become socially acceptable in the near future.
Until then, you have to field negativity from friends and family. To combat that negativity, you need positivity.
So where do I get the mindset training? It’s all around you. Inspirational/motivational videos on YouTube, meditate by just sitting quietly and clearing your mind and visualize achieving your goal, positive and personal development books/audio books, podcasts, and wake-up calls. A lot of these can be done on your commute to and from work.
#2 – Create At Least 1 Piece of Content Every Day
You want to be providing value into the marketplace. At the very minimum it should be a Facebook/social media post, a video, a Facebook Live, a blog post, something to provide value to your audience.
You want to do this consistently every day.
Your audience is watching you. They are watching how you show up to your business every day. They’re watching to see if you are someone they can learn from, grow with, and trust. OR are you the person spamming links to your business opportunity or product all over the internet?
They want to know: Are you the person that will show them the way?
If not and you need someone to show you, contact us.

#3 – Build Relationships
Todd Falcone has said you don’t want to be interesting; you want to be interested.
Network marketing is about building relationships. Social media is the best way to do that with people all over the world. You can reach so many more people than just in your local community.
You should be talking to at least five to ten new people every single day.
I know you’re thinking, “What am I supposed to say to these people?”
That’s where the “be interested” part comes in. Ask people about themselves, their businesses, their lives. People love to talk about themselves.
Remember, you’re building a relationship not prospecting them. Prospecting comes when you’ve chatted with them for a while and have a really good idea of what their struggles are.
Prospecting comes after they’ve had time to check out who you are and the kind of value you put out there. Prospecting comes when the know, like and trust factor is built.
Sure it may take time. Just remember this…. where you are in your business right now is a direct result of your actions 90 days ago.
When they see you are not just someone chatting to prospect them into your biz opp or sell them on your products, they start to know, like and trust you. When they are ready to make a change they will remember you, remember the value you share, and come to you.
The successful network marketing pros continue these habits every day. They know these are the keys to building and sustaining a successful business.
Are you going to develop these habits?
